A bit about me—I grew up in Oklahoma with parents who were very involved in ministry bi-vocationally. God called me into ministry as a teenager. I never dreamed of the incredible adventures I would go on with God. I have had opportunity to intern in places like Lake Charles, LA and Odessa, TX. I also had the privilege of getting to serve, learn and grow on staff at First Baptist Arlington, TX while in seminary. God allowed me to do church planting for two years and then laid out a new adventure for me. 

In 2001, I moved to North Carolina to serve on a church staff as Minister of Education and Families. A few months later God brought the most amazing man into my life, Robert. For years, I had prayed for some very specific things in my future husband and Robert was all of those things and more. We have two amazing kids, Caleb and Kaitlyn, who are both teens now. Believe me, I have learned a lot about parenting in the past few years. I have also learned a lot about myself. 

For the past decade, I have been serving as a Children’s Minister. My heart longs to see kids grow up to love Jesus and change the world around them. Guess what? As parents, we are the primary spiritual influencers in our kids lives. 

Recently, God has laid it on my heart to launch Faith and Family Box. Why? Because I get you. I really do. As parents we want to pass our faith onto our kids, but our lives get busy. We wear a lot of hats and if we do find time to do a Family Devotion, the excitement fades as our kids share with us how boring it is or my favorite, “When will this be over?”  I, too, was looking for an all-in-one resource that would enable me to do Family Devotions that were fun and engaging. 

I spent a year dreaming, researching and investing in a resource that would allow you to create meaningful memories with your kids that were fun, engaging and ensure smiles. I wanted to help families connect and pass their love for Jesus to your precious kids and our kids. (Yep, even my teens enjoy doing our Faith and Family Box.) 

I have an amazing team who help us create our monthly resources. My sister and her husband help with the overall design, stickers and themed out inserts each month. My friend, Amy, helps brainstorm and research cost effective resources for the box.

For us, this business is our ministry to families. More than anything else our heart longs to see families equipped to raise kids who love Jesus with all their hearts.
