Wow! Their smiles are contagious! Robert and I have packed shoe boxes with our kids for several years. It is always such a special moment for our family as we talk about the child who will receive our box.
This month, not only will you have the opportunity to pack a shoe box, but God has laid on my heart a special lesson for this upcoming month. Our theme is “Light of the World”. We were created for such a time as this. God knew we would be here in the year 2020 and that our neighbors, friends, family members and co-workers would need to see Jesus shining His light through our lives. I love the cover pictured below that my brother-n-law, Robbin, created. We are the “lantern” and Jesus is shining His light through our lives. When we give Jesus access to transform us from the inside out and shine His light through us, His light can change the world.

Welcome to Faith & Family Box! My name is Katrina Dorroh. I am an Oklahoma girl living in North Carolina with my husband, Robert and two teens: Caleb and Kaitlyn. We also have a spunky Westie named Trooper. I have been doing ministry for over 25 years. I have a Masters of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I absolutely love nature and creating memories with my family. On of my favorite places to hang out is in our wooded area on a hammock with a good book. My favorite verse is Ephesians 3:20: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” My favorite quote: “The world has yet to see what God will do with a man fully consecrated to Him.
